Josh Reyes met Sonny Ray at 13 months and rescued him from an abandoned house in Azusa, California. Three months later Josh put sunglasses on Sonny Ray and he never tried to shake them off. Tough Love Pit Bull Rescue (formerly Revamped Rovers) is a small network of foster homes and breed advocates, with volunteers currently in Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington state. We limit the number of dogs in our care so we have considerable time to devote to socializing, training, and evaluating behavior. As a general rule, Tough Love dogs are trained in basic commands and potty trained.
